About Me
The about me page is a difficult thing to write. It has such a static connotation and I am constantly evolving on a daily basis.The processes of growth, understanding, perception, and spiritual development are unfolding day by day. . .
So, what I can tell you is that I am an artist and alchemist. A love of baking and dreams of cake, cookies and confections lead me to the Culinary Institute of America where I received classical training in the fine art of baking and pastry. I have been baking professionally for over 20 years and love every minute of it. I didn't realize it, but the experiences at CIA helped to define who I am as a woman, wife, mother, sister, teacher, alchemist, and priest.
Woven in between the baking layers is a teaching certification. Yet another calling. Teaching gave me a window into the souls of our most innocent. It also taught me a lot about human nature, communication, and human interaction.
A couple years after becoming a teacher I answered another calling. I am an Olorisha (Orisha Priest). I was initiated as an Omo Erinle in the Lukumi tradition in Havana Cuba in Jul 2003. It is an honor and a privilege to serve the Orisha. The practice shapes all that I do. It inspires me to utilize my ashe for the amelioration of all.

Classes
Education is the foundation for life. I will be offering classes in baking and pastry, as well as classes in ancestor reverence,Orisha and Ifa studies.

Alchemy
Wherever there is a butter, an oil, a sugar, salt and herbs, magic is waiting to be made. Anything can be prepared; from healing butters, and salves, to cleansing baths and energetic candles.
